Special "Guest Designer"
Designer's Calendar

I was hoping to use Designer's Calendar cartridge for more than just calendar pages, when my hubby asked me to make a card for his father. Thus, the idea for a calendar card highlighting his birthdate! Card is 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 and the "happy birthday" is cut from Sweet Treats. Pretty simple in format but his dad likes pretty simple things so I think it will do. TFL!

Football

I had a ton of fun making these football cards for a friend. Her son's team needed 3 cards for their coaches end of season banquet and I was privileged to make these. All of the Cricut cuts are from Sports Mania cartridge (for not being into sports, I just LOVE that cart! So many fun backgrounds and icons too!). I made the cards in 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square for something a little different and inside each one is a different gift card holder. Hope you like them!

We have had some crazy snow here in Texas. I know the nation has been bombarded with the snow storms and some areas have reported snow falls of 20 and even 30 inches in just a few hours but I've never really seen anything like that. Well, on Feb. 12th we awoke to huge snowflakes falling and the ground already blanketed white. By midafternoon, it was still snowing and accumulating to 3 - 5 inches. By nightfall, we had a whopping 10 inches of snow! Here, in Texas, where we usually have pretty mild winters! We built snowmen, sledded (using a surf board without the fin - hey it's Tx, who's going to have a sled on hand?), had snow ball fights and made snow ice cream. But being typical Tx weather, 4 days later there wasn't even a hint of snow as proof of the weather we'd had! Still cold but sun shiny and a little wet.
Since then, we've had a couple more days of flurries but not much stuck to the ground. We have have 3 big snow episodes this winter with real snow on the ground for a few days - a first for this area!
Hope where ever you are that you are staying warm and cozy and making the most of this crazy winter:o)

Ellee Valentine's

Ellee is cut at 3 1/2 on an A2 card. Inked some of her edges and the little valentine she's delivering. Took the photo before I added stickes to the toes for an extra dazzle in her life. She's pop dotted for some dimension and used new Fiskars hearts corner/border punch for the bottom edge and corner. Enjoy!
