So hubby sends me a text asking if I will make a birthday card real quick (gotta love that) for a coworker with a soccer player wearing a white cowboy hat on it. Okayyyy... apparently it's an inside joke there but I threw one together for him. All who signed it were quite pleased so that made me happy:o) Soccer player from Sports Mania cut at 4.25 with a cowboy hat from Old West sized down on the Gypsy to 0.51. Lettering from Varsity (Cricut Lite from WalMart) and welded together. Although the cut has the soccer ball cut with it, I had these adorable soccer ball buttons so I just set that down over the paper ball.

New Cricut Lites at WalMart Black Friday Deals!

WalMart will be having the new Cricut Lites for only $20 on Black Friday! And they sure are super cute carts. Remember, these are not full size cartridges but they do have some spectacular themed images and the phrases are phenomenal on most of them. A few have some really great fonts on them too that will be sure to liven up any layout or card :o)

In addition to the 7 new Lites, ProvoCraft is also releasing a new full size cart called Cricut Classic Font. This looks to be an updated version of Plantin Schoolbook.

My brillant 6 year old made a card for her Granddad all by herself with the Baby Bug Santa brought her this Christmas. I told her I would "feature" her on my beginning blog and she is so proud and excited. Thanks for looking:o)

Designer's Calendar

I was hoping to use Designer's Calendar cartridge for more than just calendar pages, when my hubby asked me to make a card for his father. Thus, the idea for a calendar card highlighting his birthdate! Card is 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 and the "happy birthday" is cut from Sweet Treats. Pretty simple in format but his dad likes pretty simple things so I think it will do. TFL!

Football

I had a ton of fun making these football cards for a friend. Her son's team needed 3 cards for their coaches end of season banquet and I was privileged to make these. All of the Cricut cuts are from Sports Mania cartridge (for not being into sports, I just LOVE that cart! So many fun backgrounds and icons too!). I made the cards in 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square for something a little different and inside each one is a different gift card holder. Hope you like them!
